SKM calls for bandh on September 25

Samyukth Kisan Morcha(SKM) has called for a nationwide strike on September 25, one year after the Parliament passed three agricultural reform laws. This comes at the end of the two-day Convention at the Sindhu border.

The three laws were passed by the Parliament last September. Protesting farm unions has organised a strike on September 25, just two days before President signed the three bills into laws. The Supreme Court suspended the implementation of laws in January, 2021. The farmers Unions have been protesting since November 26 and have held 11 rounds of negotiations with the Central government.
