Karnataka gives relaxation in compulsory quarantine for students appearing for exams

Bengaluru:

Karnataka government has given relaxation in institutional quarantine for students from Kerala who are appearing for exams in the state. The students will be allowed to enter the state along with one of the parents after producing COVID negative certificate. But they should strictly follow the conditions issued by the authority.

The students from Kerala would not be allowed to remain in Karnataka for more than three days.

The Karnataka health department has given relaxation in the compulsory institutional quarantine for Keralites in view of various exams scheduled in September.

Meanwhile, Keralites who are regular students in Kerala are not exempted from the institutional quarantine. The educational students must arrange a quarantine facility for them.
