Hurricane Ida: Two Indian-origin persons swept away by flash floods in US

At least two Indian-origin persons have been killed as they swept away by heavy floods caused by Hurricane Ida in US. Hurricane Ida, which made landfall on August 29 in Louisiana is the second most destructive hurricane to hit the state on record, after Hurricane Katrina(2005).

Ida transitioned into a post-tropical cyclone on September 1 and it has killed 65 people in US. Majority deaths were in New Jersey, New York and Louisiana.
