Heavy to extremely heavy rains has prompted the IMD to issue an orange signal in six MP districts and a yellow alert in seventeen others.

On Thursday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued an orange signal in six Madhya Pradesh districts, anticipating “heavy” to “very severe” rainfall.
In addition, the IMD has issued a yellow signal for “heavy” rainfall in 17 of the state’s districts.An orange signal was issued for the four districts of Rajgarh, Shajapur, Agar-Malwa, Mandsaur, Guna, and Ashok Nagar, warning of rains ranging from 64.5 to 204.4 mm in 24 hours. Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Neemuch, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Datia, Vidisha, Raisen, Sehore, Hoshangabad, Dhar, Dewas, Narsinghpur, Tikamgarh, Niwari, and Sagar in Madhya Pradesh have been given a yellow alert for rainfall ranging from 64.5 to 115.5 mm.
