Gogra Heights tensions melt

New Delhi:
Border standoff at disputed border region Gogra Heights in Eastern Ladakh eased as the Indian and Chinese troops have completed disengagement in the region. Troops of both sides visited the location and made sure that all temporary structures and allied infrastructures of both sides are dismantled. The place has been restored as per the pre-stand-off-period.
The agreement made at Chulshul Moldo is to ensure that LAC will be strictly observed and respected by both sides and there will be no unilateral changes to the status quo. This is the third disengagement at the LAC after Galwan and Pangong Tso.
