Delhi riot cases investigation very poor, no follow ups: Court

New Delhi: A City Court said that it was “really painful” to see that the standard investigation done in the north east Delhi riot cases was “very poor” and after filing “half baked” charge sheets the police had “hardly bothered” to take it to a logical end.

The court stated that it is high time that the DCP(North East) and other officials took notice of the observations and took immediate action. They are free to take advice from experts so that there is no chance that injustice will be caused to the people involved, the court added.
