Cruise ship drug case hearing: No relief for Aryan, bail order reserved for Oct. 20

Mumbai: While the hearing is underway in cruise ship drugs case, Additional Solicitor General told the court that it is likely that Aryan Khan will flee the country. ASG said that Khan is in contact with international drug trafficking network. The court after hearing the bail plea reserved the bail order to Oct. 20 later in the day. Aryan Khan has to spend a few more days in judicial custody.

NCB officials are working day and night to free the youth from this addiction and to crack down on this issue. Drugs available in the country and abroad are causing huge losses to society and college students. So we are taking this matter seriously. The matter is currently under investigation, NCB opposed Khan’s bail.

Sessions Court Judge VV Patil is hearing Aryan Khan’s bail application, Aryan Khan’s lawyer Amit Desai and his team are present in the court. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) felt that looking at Aryan’s reputation in society, if he comes out, it could affect the investigation. Hence, it opposed granting bail to him as evidence can be tampered with and pressure can be exerted on the witnesses.
