The takeover of Afghanistan by the Taliban has triggered a series of humanitarian crises across the country, the most important of which is deteriorating medical conditions. The World Health Organization (WHO) issued a statement on Saturday warning of the health care situation in Afghanistan, where the conflict has left countless people vulnerable to hunger and disease.
